Phenom Elite Partners with Renowned Defensive Back Mentor Jonathan Wade

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Wade starred at the University of Tennessee, earning recognition as a five-time All-American in track and field and a member of the Vols All Quarter-Century Team. His blazing speed and technical precision led to his selection in the 2007 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams, followed by five seasons in the league with the Rams, Lions, Bengals, and Dolphins.

Now based in Dallas, Wade has become one of the premier defensive back mentors in the region. His athletes—ranging from the Classes of 2026 through 2030—have already earned Division I scholarship offers, a testament to his elite coaching methods and player development expertise. Over the past three years, he’s built a reputation for producing disciplined, intelligent, and explosive defensive backs who understand the game from both a mental and mechanical standpoint.
